Kinda Fixed

I followed Ben's advice and opened the side of my computer. I also cleaned all the little fans and now it's running at a normal temp!! Yay! I think that if I were to close the side, the temp would get too hot again so it's not all the way fixed, but it's good enough for the time being. So, I was finally able to upload pics from birthdays! Skippy's was the 3rd, Thyssen's the 11th, and mine the 14th. It's March madness birthdays here at the Andersen home. Here are pics from all the festivities.

Thyssen's First Birthday!!

All the little tots tried their hardest to break open the pinata... finally Skippy stepped in and finsihed the job. Thyssen slept through the pinata...luckily, he woke up just in time to do cake and presents. He totally knew exactly what to do with the cup-cake. He picked it up and went for it! He ate pretty much the whole thing.

The only thing I wanted for my Bday was to watch the Electrical Light Parade. We went to DCA with Trena & Aaron, and Mandy & Kids. It was a fun time, exactly what I wanted!

Thanks Aunt Trena for braving the dangerous and exhausting treck all the way to the front of the park to get the girls their popcorn!

stupid transformer computer

So, from the outside our computer looks really cool, like a transformer. Skippy built it with the help of my computer savy brothers a few years ago. It was built to be a good gaming computer, fast, with great graphics. It looks really rad, but it's not acting rad. It's been overheating, a problem we've had to rectify in the past. The awesome computer doctor guy we like is no longer in business because he got a real job, so I've been on the computer for 2 minutes at a time for the last couple of weeks. I have just enough time to view my emails before it gets too hot and I have to turn it off again. Anywho, I finally stole Skippy's lap-top away from him so that I could do some blogging and commenting. So, who knows when we'll get it fixed, this may be my last entry for a while... I'm bummed too because I have 3 birthdays to blog about. I've been feeling tempted to try and fix the computer myself... hhhmmm... I wonder if I could do it. Trena, can I borrow your Mrs. Fix It tool box??

Family Outing

We took advantage of the holiday Monday and went on a family outing to the Huntington Library and Gardens. It was Thyssen's first time in his big-boy carseat. He loved it!
I set my camera on a big rock in the Japanese Gardens and got this family pic, not bad, eh?
Belen and Thy guy had a lot of fun being outside all day. Out of all the pretty gardens and flowers, Belen's favorite was the Desert garden! She stopped and stared at every cactus and oohed and awwed at all the little needles. She's totally got her mommy's desert blood!

Thy Guy

Our little Thy guy...
We love him soo much!! Here are some cute/funny recent pics that Trena just sent me.
At the Cerrritos Mall- I ONLY feed my kids healthy and organic food.
At Dland- the guy at the Roger Rabbit ride told me that Thyssen had to sit on the seat and not in my lap... It looked so funny- his little face was struggling to look up and see everything the entire ride. It was sad but cute.

Twighlight Books

I have been completely involved with this searies. I started the first book last Monday and finished it Friday, then I just finished the second book in two days. Every spare thought I have involves these books. I have seriously been thinking about the charcters and been genuinly worried about their welfare... will Bella become a vampire? Who will she choose in the end- Edward or Jacob? Will Charlie find out the truth? Will Edward kill Jacob? Will Jacob kill Edward? Will Victoria kill Jacob? I could go on and on, there are endless possibilities... I am thirsting for the last book, I can't wait to read it, yet, I am already feeling sad that this exciting adventure is coming to an end. I can take comfort in the fact that it is being made into a movie and I will be able to relive it on the big screen. ohhhh, Edward!!!

She's So Brave!

Belen has always been scared to death of all the characters at Dland. Whenever we see a character she says how she wants to say hi to them and take a picture with them, but when the time comes for her to go near the character, she freezes up with fear. I totally understand this because I am.... I mean.... was, the same way. So anyway, we were in toon town a week ago and she spotted Mini walking towards a photo-op. Belen took off running after her screaming "Mini!! Mini!! Stop!!" I, of course, ran after Belen. So there we were running through toon town chasing minimouse and I knew that once we caught up to her Belen would chicken out and just want to stand and stare. So, we caught up to mini at the photo-op and got in line to meet her. The entire time in line I was giving Belen pep-talks about how nice mini is and how happy she is going to be to see Belen, etc. Well, it was finally out turn and Belen ran right up to her and gave her a big hug! I was so proud of her for not being afraid. Am I jumping the gun to think that maybe she'll like Santa this year?
