No, Thyssen, No!

So yesterday I was blow-drying my hair and Skippy was on the couch near our back door. He was half paying attention to the TV and half to what the kids were doing outside when he heard Thyssen gagging and Belen yelling, "he's barfing!!" Skippy ran outside and saw crying Thy with mud drooling down his chin. Now, little Thy Guy has been known to be a dirt eater for some time now, but it's never been this bad. Skippy ran him into the bathroom and I quickly washed his mouth out. There was so much mud in there, I couldn't believe it! I just kept scooping and scopping.. he stopped crying as I was getting all the mud out of his mouth, I think he was relieved. When all was said and done, he was fine, and hopefully he won't contract worms from this (I can't even think about how discusting that would be)... yuck. And, come to find out,- not to be too gross- but...... dirt is a great laxitive!

Here are some other little things ThyGuy has been up to...
-constantly crawling under the desk and turning off the power stip of the computer!
-unrolling the toilet paper
-throwing every toy he can into whatever receptical he can find, trashcans, empty boxes, open drawers, etc.
-pointing at things he wants and saying a stream of bable.
-biting!
-stomping his feet when he doesn't get what he wants fast enough.
-clapping at himself for no apperent reason
-climbing on and off of the fireplace
-just being a cute baby!

Oh, I love the "unrolling the TP" phase. Zach went through a phase where he threw everthing in the toilet, including my mom's cell phone. The only time Violet ate dirt is when she fell out of the car head first!

I can just imagine him turning off the powerstrip! So funny! I love that little guy! I can't wait to watch him on Saturday.

Pin Worms are my biggest nightmare as a mother. I know one of the kids will get it eventually because I am so terrified of it. I miss little Thyssen and Belen. Kristi's Violet reminds me so much of Belen. I think it's the big brown eyes and curly hair.

Tati has done a few of thos mischevious things.. hid our keys in the speakers/credit cards.. she likes to turn off the power strip to where my phone gets plugged in at night and thinking it got charged, the battery dies..kids are just so fun! seriously can't believe how much they're growing up

Too funny. Isn't having little boys so fun! Never a dull moment! They are so cute that you can't help but love them! I am so glad that you guys are in the ward. I am glad that Cody gets along with Bellen so well! He tells our neighbors about her too!

Hey, I heard that maybe Skippy was in a car accident? Is he ok? That is so traumatic when something like that happens. Time stops for a while and it takes a while to get back up and going again. It's been a while since I've seen you guys. Thinking of you!

Thanks for your concern, Allison. But,No, actually I was in a little fender-bender a few weeks ago. Some lady decided to make a right turn accross my lane of traffic directly into me! Anyway, it was minor because we were going so slow and she finally accepted liability this week. My car is almost done being fixed and life is almost back to normal:)

(Sorry about the accident) That Thy is so funny! I'm glad that so far he seems okay though. :)

When I read the list of things Thyssen is doing these days,I was thinking it's surprising how you can forget just how busy they are at that age. They are just busy and curious at the same time and they don't really care too much about what you tell them. It's sinking in I'm sure, but you wonder at times. I remember telling Lauren, "If you throw your toys in the trash, you won't have them to play with anymore...they'll go bye bye".In response to that I would get this blank stare and bright eyes as though they were thinking, I'm going to try that again and see what happens!
